Villa D is designed for a family of five with small kids outside of Karlstad in Sweden. The house consists of three building volumes whose gables is offset to each other. The offset gables create different kind of spaces around the house and also an optimization of the floorplan where we avoid unnecessary corridors. The facade facing the street is more reserved in contrast to the backside which opens up to bring in the forest outside.
