Villa P is located on the top of a peninsula in Töcksfors, Sweden. Here you get a panoramic view over the lake and the wide landscape. The house is all about taking advantage of the view as much as possible but at the same time creating a private and protected atmosphere inside. With a centrally located courtyard, the house feels significantly larger and the evening sun is invited into the social area without compromising the private atmosphere. The external wall elements on the south facade frame and create an internal direction towards the view. The black ribbed wooden facade continues inside as a suspended ceiling and creates the feeling of a hollowed-out mass. On the roof there is a terrace with a 360° view.
